BRAIN BALL
The Objective:
Students will toss a ball around with their class mates and when the music stops, the student who has the ball will answer a question or define a vocabulary term.
Materials Needed:
- Questions to answer or Vocab terms to define
- A ball to throw
- Music and speakers
Student Directions:
Students will get in a circle (for large classes, split into two small circles)
The music will play and students will throw the ball.
When the music STOPS the student who has the ball will either answer a question or define the word.

Activity Suggestions:
If you aren't attached to the ball, you can write numbers, actual questions or terms on the ball with a sharpie and as students catch the ball, whichever number/question/term their pointer finger lands on, that's the number/question/term they have to answer or define.
As you pass the ball, the teacher can call on the student to answer if music isn't available to play, or students can throw the ball to the next person who they want to answer a question or define a term.
