Streaming Plus Search
- Click on My DE Services in the menu and scroll down to Streaming Plus
- Select a Grade Level and then select a Topic
- In the window that opens, choose a Subject (note that the number of DE resources is listed next to the subject)
- If necessary, narrow the topic more from the list of choices that opens
- You will be taken to a results page with resources specific to the search topic and grade level you chose.
Your Mission: Find content using Streaming Plus related to YOUR Subject of Interest! Share what you find! Be sure to save items for future use!
Basic & Advanced Search
- Click in the search bar at the top of the My DE Services page
- Type in a topic you would like to search for
- Choose the down arrows to narrow the search more if you would like to
- Click Submit
- On the results page, you will see a list of all the items your search has returned. This includes all media types within Discovery Education.
- You can also click the Advanced Search option to narrow your search a little more before seeing the results page.
Your Mission: Click on Advanced Search and type YOUR SUBJECT as the keyword. Choose to search by 2 or 3 different media types. (Video and Video Segment are not allowed). Share what you have found with a partner. Save items you might use in the future!

Core Curriculum Standards Search
- You can also search for content by Curriculum Strand.
- On the main My DE Services screen click the Curriculum Standards Seach link under the main search box at the top of the screen.
- Choose the appropriate drop down areas for your subject and skills
- Once the standards have been chosen, the standards will be shown as a list
- Click the + button next to the standard to expand it and see the objectives listed below.
- Any standards or objectives that are hyperlinked will take you to DE resources once you click on them.
Your Mission: Click on the Curriculum Standards Search. North Carolina should be the default state that shows in the window. Choose Essential Standards as the Standards Document. Choose YOUR CONTENT as the Subject. Explore Resources available for you!
